One way ticket to Caracas from Miami ... check.
No visas, shots, or anywhere to work (yet) in Caracas ... check.
Severe debt before I've even set foot outside the country ... check and double check.

Yup, trip planning is pretty fun. The good news is that I have a ridiculous(?) amount of time with which to get all or most of this stuff figured out. At the very least, I have a place to stay which is the best part of this whole thing so far. The boring part is that most of these pre-trip posts will include hallowed milestones like "I just got my typhoid shot" or "Chavez declares martial law." At any rate, the countdown continues: 78 days until launch.
